WATSON-Jean Marilyn Watson (nee May) aged 83 years of Eastend, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Eastend Wolf Willow Health Centre. She was born at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on November 28, 1924. Jean's early years were spent in Moose Jaw before moving to Regina where she completed her formal education. While in high school, she met Lyle Watson whom she would ultimately marry. After high school, she moved with her parents to British Columbia and began her career at the Bank of Montreal. Upon Lyle's return from the war, they married in 1948 and settled in Regina to begin their lives and family together. They moved to Eastend where they have lived since 1956. She was predeceased by her brother Tommy, mother Mabel and father Tom. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Lyle; four children (and spouses) Barbara (Bob), Bob (Clara), Bill (Marcie), Jack (Jan); eight grandchildren, Tara, Christopher, Tyler, Catherine, Greg, Ali, Kelsey and Behn and three great grandchildren, Aislyn, Makayla and Brynn. Funeral Services will be held from Eastend United Church on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Ken Schrag officiating. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at Riverside Cemetery at Eastend. Binkley's Funeral Service of Shaunavon ( www.Binkleys.com ) was in charge of the arrangements.
