Jean T. Moore June 7, 1924 - May 26, 2010 PUTNAM - Jean T. Moore, 85, of Little River Acres died Wednesday at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn with her family by her bedside. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 7, 1924, daughter of the late Clifton and Blanche (Neil) Gardiner. Jean retired from Pierce Memorial Baptist Home after many years of service. She leaves her children, Karen Moore of Gerrardston, WV, Joseph Moore Jr. of Brooklyn, CT and his wife Debbie Violette-Moore. Jean was the beloved grandmother of Evelyn and Tyler Moore and Ramsey Violette; great grandmother of Deontae Alston and Savaughn Violette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews and her dear friend Jean Sheldon. She was predeceased by her sisters, Bernice Monclova and Ramona Page and brother, Clifton Gardiner. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. in Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
