Jean Paul Petrin, 72     LIMINGTON -- Jean Paul Petrin, 72, of Limington, passed away suddenly on Jan. 1, 2008, after a brief illness at the Maine Medical Center.     He was born in Biddeford, on Jan. 30, 1935, the son of Albert and Germaine (Nolette) Petrin. As a child he attended St. Andre's School in Biddeford.     Mr. Petrin was a career fireman and served 20 years on the Portland Fire Department and retired as a Lieutenant in 1977. He enjoyed BINGO, taking trips to Foxwoods, karaoke at family gatherings, and being with his family.     He is predeceased by his parents; a son, Stephen Petrin in 1999; and a brother, Robert Petrin. Mr. Petrin is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary (MacDonald) Petrin of Limington; two sons, Michael Petrin of Limington and David Petrin and his wife Carolyn of Limington, three daughters, Theresa Ann Bilodeau and her husband Harold of Standish, Paula Gemmell and her husband Charlie of Limington, Maria Benner and her fiancée David Sprague of Limington; a brother, Richard Petrin and his wife Terese of Saco, a sister, Nancy Poissant and her husband David of Old Orchard Beach; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.     Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corner of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Road) in Buxton.
