Jean Patricia Brooks, 94, died May 8, 2012, at the Mountain Ridge Center in Franklin, N.H. She was born in St.-Patrice-de-Beaurivage, Quebec, and grew up in Laconia, N.H., eventually moving to Vero Beach. She and her husband, Earle Allen Brooks, owned and operated Golden Road drapery shop, until their retirement 27 years ago. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Durfee of Shaftsbury, Vt.; sons, Allen of Jackson, N.H., Charles of Freedom, N.H., and Steven of Henniker, N.H.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services: A funeral Mass is planned for 10:30 a.m. June 30 at St. Joseph Church, Laconia, N.H. Arrangements are by Thibeault-Neun Funeral Home, Franklin.
