MacKAY, Jean Passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 17th, 2008 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dean (1996), survived by daughters Joanne, Judy (Peter), Mary Jane (Howard) and Kim (Drew), grandchildren Alexandra, Sarah, Melanie, Heather, Alec, Hamish, and Cameron, and great-grandchildren Olivia and Charlie. Jean was independent, active and enjoying life up until her last day. Our true matriarch, she remains much loved and admired and especially adored by her grandchildren who she encouraged, inspired and brought together in every sense. Jean was creative, a lover of beauty in all aspects of her life but particularly in her garden. She will be remembered always for her kindness and sincere interest in everyone's lives. We have all flourished because of her unconditional love. A family gathering has been held.
