SOUTH BARRE - Longtime Spaulding educator Jean Watson, who was born in 1923, died on July 24, 2010, after an extended struggle with Alzheimer's. A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Barre Congregational Church, 35 Church St. The Reverend David Abernathy will officiate. A reception will follow at the church.
