COX, JEAN M., 76, of Louisville, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at Kindred Hospital. She was the former Jean Seitz and the owner of the old Barbee Beauty Salon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Cox; and her son, John Glenn Cox. She is survived by her step son, Gary Cox; a grandson, Joseph Cox; and her sister, Judy Browning (Bill). Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Highway.
