MCALLISTER, JEAN LOIS The death of Jean Lois (Smith) McAllister, of Fredericton, long time resident of Fair Vale, NB, wife of the late James McAllister, occurred suddenly on July 19, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 18, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Byard and Lilly May (Bernard) Smith. Jean is survived by her son Bobby (Kathy) McAllister of Quispamsis, NB; two daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Fowler of Maple Ridge, BC and Cindy (Dave) Hearn of Fredericton, NB; five grandchildren; Jason and Andrew McAllister, Alex Fowler, Gwynne and Greg Hearn; one brother, Murray of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Evelyn (Jack) McGee of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Georgette Smith of Courtney, BC; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her brother Carl Smith and her sister Velma Smith. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 22, 2005 at 2 pm from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Ian Wetmore officiating. For those who wish, remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
