ROEBUCK, SC-- Jean Catherine Lee Jones, age 79, wife of the late Earl B. Jones, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 25, 2006.Born in Spartanburg County on November 12, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Eula Groce Lee.Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Brenda Bailey and her husband Jack of Roebuck; three sons, Bobby Jones and his wife Janice, and Terry Jones and his wife Kathy all of Roebuck, and Rodney Jones and his wife Samantha of Cowpens; a sister, Betty Woody of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Kay Matthews.Funeral service will be held today, October 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Lanford-Dunbar Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Burnett presiding. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:001:30 PM.
