NORTH HAVEN - Jean L. Sierzputowski Scott, 83, formerly of Sackets Point Road, North Haven, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at the Miller Memorial Community, Meriden. She was the wife of the late Gordon S. Scott Sr. Born in New Haven on June 29, 1924, daughter of the late Paul and Stanislawa Kolodsiejczyk Sierzputowski. Jean had worked for Chloride Systems for many years until her retirement in 1980. After retirement she moved to Brooksville, Fla., until moving back to Connecticut in 2005. She was the mother of Marthajean (Dennis) Savage of Wallingford, Paul (Kathi) Scott of Stuart, Fla., Cindy (Anthony) Golia of North Haven and Gordon (Kathy) Scott Jr. of Boca Raton, Fla.; sister of Joseph (Alice) Sierzputowski of North Haven, Marion (George) Nash of Hamden, Lotti (John) Domek of Florida and the late Helen Kalisck; also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. There will be no visiting hours.
