Jean L. Sierzputowski Scott, 83, formerly of Sackett Point Road, North Haven, died Nov. 12, 2007, at the Miller Memorial Community, Meriden. She was the wife of the late Gordon S. Scott Sr. Born in New Haven, June 29, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Stanislawa Kolodsiejczyk Sierzputowski. Jean had worked for Chloride Systems for many years until her retirement in 1980. After retirement, she moved to Brooksville, Fla., until moving back to Connecticut in 2005. She is survived by her children, Marthajean (Dennis) Savage, of Wallingford, Paul (Kathi) Scott, of Stuart, Fla., Cindy (Anthony) Golia, of North Haven, and Gordon (Kathy) Scott, Jr., of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Joseph (Alice) Sierzputowski, of North Haven; and sisters, Marion (George) Nash, of Hamden, and Lotti (John) Domek, of Florida; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Kalisck. A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 15, 2007, at St. Therese Church. Interment was private and at the convenience of the family in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. The North Haven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
