SMITH, Jean Joyce November 4th, 1915 - August 11th, 2012 Jean Smith died at Rest Haven Lodge in Sidney on Saturday, August 11th, 2012. Jean, predeceased by her dearly beloved husband John Hale (Jack), December 17th, 1990, was the loving mother of Carol Champion and Sandra Caldwell and dear grandma of Bob, Valerie and Jennifer. She was also the great-grandmother of Andrew, Samantha, Wyatt, Kelly, Julia and Matthew, all of Victoria. Following her wishes there will no funeral services and cremation has taken place.
