Jean Higgins of Littleton, born in Brighton; 76 Littleton Jean (Sheehan) Higgins 76, of Littleton, died at her residence on March 17. She was born in Brighton on May 5, 1931 daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Keene) Sheehan. She grew up in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1949. Jean was married in 1952 and worked as an office worker for New England Telephone for over 35 years. Mrs. Higgins made her home in Somerville and summered in Littleton for over 40 years prior to making her home her for the past 5 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Parish in Littleton and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Higgins is survived by her husband Francis W. Higgins of Littleton, 2 daughters, Donna Joyce of Lowell, and Cheryl Matthews of Billerica. 2 sons Francis M. Higgins of Reading, and Stephen Higgins of Somerville. A sister Pauline E. Ladley of Somerville, and 2 brothers Robert Sheehan of Somerville and Donald Sheehan of Raymond, NH .and 9 grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late John Sheehan and Phyllis Shimmel and was predeceased by 2 grandchildren. HIGGINS Jean, 76. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, 75 King St. Littleton,. Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. Littleton on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Burial at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
