ObituaryJean H. (Rieske) Miller, 65, of Stow, OH died unexpectedly on February 21, 2009 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born on January 21, 1944 in Wellington, OH, a child of Arthur and Ina (Kuivila) Rieske.Jean came to Kent State University from Rochester, OH and graduated in 1968. She held a secondary school teaching position for a short time and cared for her home. Later she was employed by United Parcel Service and enjoyed being the UPS driver for SE Barberton, she retired with over 25 years of service.Prior to her employment at UPS she was active in several groups and was a member of the Stow United Methodist Church. More recently she attended the Stow Community Church in her neighborhood. Jean loved gardening and making her yard bloom but she disliked watching the flowers wither. For this reason those who wish to bring flowers should only bring a single stem to the celebration.She leaves her husband of 43 years, William L. Miller, their wonderful children, Julie Ann and Justin Aaron and her brother, Leonard Rieske.Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Stow Community Church, 1597 Pilgrim Drive, Stow, OH 44224. A celebration of Jean's life will be held, please call 330-245-5259 for details. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Stow Community Church.
