MORROW Jean Frances Kennedy Morrow, 95, died August 4, 2004. She was born at Mandarin, Florida, graduated from Florida State College for Women (now FSU) where she was editor of the FLAMBEAU campus newspaper, and later worked as a medical secretary at the Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville. She was an active, life-long member of the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour. She was particularly interested in the history of the Mandarin community, collecting and maintaining an archive of historical documents and memorabilia and often speaking to local school classes and civic groups about growing up in Mandarin in the early 1900s. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, A. Sherrod Morrow. She is survived by their three children, William S. Morrow (Judith) of Mandarin, Cary J. Morrow (Eve) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Letitia Anne Morrow of Mandarin; five grandchildren, Andrew Morrow of Tawaramoto, Japan, Kevin Morrow of Iowa City, Iowa, Sherrod Morrow Bott of Conifer, Colorado, Jon Mo rrow of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Marin Morrow Walker of Sarasota, Florida, one great grandchild, Harrison Morrow of Albuquerque, and several cousins. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 7, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 12236 Mandarin Rd., Jacksonville, followed by interment in the Mandarin Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Mandarin Historical Society or the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour Pipe Organ Fund.
