Jean Evelyn Nelson 1923 - May 3, 2014 Passed away in White Rock in her 90th year. She is predeceased by Jack, her beloved husband of 52 years. She will be deeply missed by her children Jill, David (Marlene) and John; her sisters Rita and Loretta, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and many friends. Jean was born in Edmonton, then moved to Ladner as a young girl. Following WWII she married Jack and they moved to Paradise Lodge on Francois Lake. They later lived throughout BC, finally settling in Mission. She was an avid gardener, renowned for her beautiful flowers. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Beecher Place, 12160 Beecher St., Crescent Beach from 2-4 pm.
