DIONNE, Jean Ellen - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Monday May 21, 2007 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Claire Dionne for 56 years. Loving mother of Robert Dionne and his wife Julie, Leslie Waitson and her husband Gary all of Kitchener and the late Judith Anne Dionne-Hayes. Dear mother-in-law of Glen Hayes of Arden, Ontario. Jean will be missed by her grandchildren Lauren Schell, Emily Waitson, Robert Wedlock (Gia), Erin Normile (Joe) and 3 great-grandchildren Isaak and Jude Normile and Keighan Wedlock. Predeceased by her parents James and Edith (nee Johnson) McDonald. Jean's family received relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30-11:15 a.m. at the HENRY WALSER FUNERAL HOME, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Funeral service took place on Thursday May 24th at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Cremation followed. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
