TODD, Jean Elizabeth (Formerly Mullen & Ward) November 21, 1920 May 12, 2012 Jean was born and grew up in the Isle of Man, England. She worked in Liverpool and London during WWII. While there she married Canadian flyer, the late Jim Ward. She came to Canada in 1944 as a war bride with her young son. Her oldest daughter was born in Edmonton, prior to the family moving to Jasper, Alberta for 10 years. Two more daughters were born in Jasper. In 1955, the family moved to Victoria. The next 60 years were spent here in Victoria, where she married the late Howard Mullen and the late Terry Todd. While living in the James Bay Lodge where she received great care, she suffered a severe stroke and passed away. Jean is predeceased by her son David Ward and her sister Myra Riley. She leaves behind her daughters Dianne Jones of Victoria, Pat Veres of Calgary and Jeanette (Ed Black) of Orleans, Ont. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Miller and will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In accordance with Jean's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of Sands of Victoria, 1803 Quadra St., on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. Please visit Jean's memorial webpage at www.sandsvictoria.ca (Obituaries & Tributes) 656442
