JEAN ELIZABETH JONES It is with great sadness that Jean passed away at Centenary Hospital, on Friday, August 7, 2009. Jean enjoyed 89 wonderful years with her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late George William Jones. Treasured and loving mother of Heather (late husband Dave), Gordon (Theresa), Stephen (Sheila), and Reg (Kathy). Cherished Nana of her grandchildren, Becky (Mark), Adam, Wes (Lindsay), Nicole, Michael, Glenn, Marianne, and Kevin. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, John, Bill, Ian, Lou, and Jessie, and by her life-long friend Audrey. She will be greatly missed and loved eternally by all her family. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 10 at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., Scarborough, 416-267-4656. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in our chapel. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
