CARTEN, JEAN ELIZABETH - Jean Elizabeth Carten, of Saint John and formerly of Sussex, passed away at her residence, the Kennebec Manor on October 21, 2003 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Alice (King) Hall. Jean was predeceased by her first husband, Clinton O'Dell, her second husband, Hedley Cameron and by her third husband Joseph Carten. Jean is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Stanley (Les) of Ontario, her daughter-in-law, Harriet O'Dell of Saint John, her sister, Frances Long (Cecil) of Smith Creek, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean was predeceased by her son, Harold O'Dell, her brothers, Charles, Clayton, Kenneth, Roy, Earl and Lloyd, and by her sisters, Helen, Dora, Edna and Florence.
