Jean E. (Bouffard) Peterson of Ayer, formerly of Maynard, died suddenly, Sunday, May 30, 2010. She leaves her father Wilfred Bouffard of Boxborough, her mother and stepfather, Lanis and Robert Harris of Maynard; four daughters: Sheri Peterson, Stacey Peterson, Amy Peterson of Clinton, Conn., Elizabeth Faubert and one son Richard Faubert of Uxbridge, Mass. She also leaves her former husband Ed Peterson of Clinton, Conn.; three sisters: Terri Dushanek of Stow, Deborah Bouffard of New Hampshire, Tracey Dallaire of Maynard, two brothers: Wilfred Bouffard, Jr. and Steven Bouffard of Maynard a step-sister Kelli Lee Schetter of Dover; sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a loving, caring and compassionate person who loved the ocean, and spending time with her children and family. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4 at 11 a.m. in the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St., Maynard. Dr. R. Gary Heikkila will officiate and burial will be in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury. Visiting hours will be Thursday, from 5 | 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
