Jean E. (Sullivan) Donoghue, age 57, of Holbrook, died Feb. 23 at her home after a hard fight with cancer. She was born in Boston, grew up in the South End and later moved to Holbrook, graduating from Holbrook High School and received her teaching degree from Bridgewater State College. Jean had been a resident of Holbrook for 27 years raising her children and running the Childrens Corner preschool for many years, later working at Boston Financial. She enjoyed golfing, which she learned from her husband Mike, skiing, which she taught her husband Mike, scrap booking, gardening, cooking and teaching her sons and daughter-in-laws family recipe. Nuni, as she was known to her grandchildren, loved spending time with all seven of them and spoiling them all equally. She is survived by her husband Mike Donoghue; sons Greg Federico and his wife Amy of Norwell, James Federico and his wife Kate of Duxbury, T.J. Federico of Brooklyn, NY and her step-son Mikey Donoghue and his wife Brandi of San Diego, CA. Daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Stanton) Sullivan. Sister of Michael Sullivan and Bobby Sullivan, both of Abington, Barry Sullivan of Brockton, Brian Sullivan of Derry, NH, Nancy Alterio and Karen Curtis, both of Holbrook. Also survived by seven grandchildren Layla, Chris, Annabelle, Matt, Austin, Violette and Samantha. Funeral was from the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St., (Rte. 37) Holbrook, Saturday at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Josephs Church at 9:00 a.m. Visiting hours were held Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
