Jean E. Anderson STOUGHTON Jean E. (Greeley) Anderson, 80, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Tuesday, Sept. 15. Daughter of the late Walter W. and Edna A. (Briggs) Greeley, she was born in Boston. She was a graduate of Sharon schools and the Mansfield Academy of Hairdressing. Ms. Anderson was a supervisor at JP Plastics in Bridgewater for 10 years before retiring in 1986. She was a volunteer at the Stoughton Council on Aging for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, knitting and crocheting. Ms. Anderson is survived by her children, Elizabeth L. Anderson of Whitman, William E. Anderson of Brockton, Donald S. Anderson of Walpole, Jay P. Anderson of Stoughton and Robert E. Anderson of Tennessee. She was the sister of the late Lois E. Owens and Walter W. Greeley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Saturday, at 5 p.m. Visiting hours prior from 2-5 p.m. Burial will be private.
