BARRETT, Jean Doris1924 - 2012Jean Barrett passed away on December 22, 2012 at the age of 88. Jean was born in England and came to Canada aboard the SS Aquitania in 1946 as a war bride, following her serviceman husband Roland MacDonald Barrett to Edmonton. Jean was a devoted, caring mother and is survived by sons David (Susan), Douglas (Ingrid) and Dwayne (Shawna), six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as siblings in England, Dorothy, Doreen (Fred) and Eric (Jean). She was predeceased by husband Roland and grandson Gregory. Cremation has taken place. A family celebration of Jean's life will be held in the spring of 2013 before interment at Beechmount Cemetery in the Field of Honour where she joins her husband Roland.
