Jean A. McCormack, 74, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died January 10 in the Brockton Hospital. She was the fiance of Fred L. Packard. Jean was born in Boston, daughter of the late Leo and Frances (McKenzie) McCarthy and resided in East Bridgewater the past 6 months, coming from Brockton. She retired from the Brown Brother Harriman Bank in Boston working as a security administrator. She loved family events and had a fascination for anything related to butterflies. In addition to her fianc Fred, she is survived by four brothers Leo and Robert McCarthy both of Abington, James McCarthy of PA and Paul McCarthy of Avon; six sisters Barbara Perron of Dorchester, Marie Abbott of Rockland, Carol Considine of FL, Rita Wagner of NH, Frances Guerrera of Upton and Kathleen McCarthy of Norton; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court St., Brockton, Thursday, January 15 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
