LYONS - Jean A. (Bushart) Horton of Lyons, NY, passed away March 14, 2014, at 80 years of age.Friends may call on Wednesday (March 19) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Boeheim-Pusateri, 77 Williams St., in Lyons. Service will be March 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Boeheim-Pusateri.Memorials contributions can be made to the Wayne County Humane Society in her name.Jean was born January 23, 1934, in Williamson, N.Y., the daughter of Peter and Marie Bushart. She was an avid bowler and a Wayne County Hall of Famer. Jean worked at Wayne ARC as head of transportation for over 20 years. Not being able to sit still, she kept busy after retirement by working at the cafeteria at Lyons High School where all the kids loved her. She loved to bake and every Christmas she sent cookies to friends and family all across the country. She also loved to garden and feed the birds.Survived by daughters, Deborah Troncone of Lyons, Donna Pursati (Michael) of Clyde; and a son, Edward Horton (Ginny) of Virginia; also her grandchildren, Charles Troncone (Karen), Dominic Trocone (Nickala), Andrea Oberlander (Dan), Michael Pursati (Angie), Alison Pursati, Tydie Higgins (George), Billy Greenlund (Loretta), Heather Parrish (Dave), and Jessica Wilson (Jerome). Jean is survived by 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjory Jock and Marlene Niles; and brother-in-law Bud Horton. Special people in her life, Fay Marrlott, Mary Nolan, Steve and Debbie Gittens; plus many nieces and nephews.Jean was predeceased in life by her husband Edward (John) Horton in December 2010, her great-grandson Lewis Oberlander in January 2014, and her brother Lester Bushart in October 2011.Jean was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone she came into contact with.
