Carter, Jannie Ruth ALBANY Jannie Ruth Carter, 88, passed away at the Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Friday, February 27, 2015, with her loving family by her side. Jannie was born on January 1, 1927, to the late Essie Mae Jones, in Thomson, Ga. Jannie is survived by her loving daughter, Betty (Arthur) Robinson; brother, John Ed Ramsey; her 13 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Services will be held privately by her family.
