Janie "Streamline" Davis of 102 Old Paris Mountain Road died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Mr. Robert Bennett of Greenville and the late Corine Bennett.Surviving, in addition to her father, are her husband, Sammie "Sam Black" Davis; daughters, Sandra Davis, Delores Davis and Ruth L. Davis, all of Greenville; sisters, Katherine Sullivan, Betty Blakley, Nancy White, Elaine Austin and Teresa Chapman; brothers, Robert "Moe" Jr., William, and Jerry Bennett; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Funeral service: 1 p.m. Sunday at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with burial in Graceland West Cemetery.
