Janice Rene Smith, 52, died Friday May 23, 2014, at her residence. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Sonny Martin officiating. Survivors include, husband Micheal Avery Smith, of Heflin; daughter - Dana Smith, of Heflin; sons, Micheal W. Smith, Bradley Smith and Brant Smith, all of Heflin; sister, Linda Davis, of Florida; brothers, Allen Gaddy, Johnny Gaddy, of Anniston. Mrs. Smith was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Cleburne County for most of her life.
