Obituary of Janice-Price Smith


BLUEFIELD, W.Va.- Janice Price Smith, 58, of Glendale Ave., Bluefield, formerly of Augusta, died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at her residence in Bluefield. Born May 21, 1946, in McDowell County, W.Va., she was a daughter of Reba Denney Price of Bluefield and the late William Cone Price. She was a former office manager of Augusta Chiropractic, Augusta, with 2 years of service. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father, William Cone Price; two sisters, Phoebe Allison Price and Doris Madeline Clark. Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband, Wallace Wayne Smith of Keysville, Ga.; son, Sgt. Dwayne Denney White, U.S. Army, North Pole, Alaska; sister, Carol Price Clark of Pulaski, Va.; brothers, James E. Price of Carlisle, Pa. and William S. Price of Pauls Valley, Okla.; niece, Debra Enigk of Bluefield and other nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m., Monday, at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Princeton, with Dr. Allen Hammond officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday at Mercer Funeral Home, Bluefield.
