Janice M. Peterson, 53, of Abington died November 16, in the Sachem Nursing Home, East Bridgewater, after a period of failing health. She was born in Weymouth, daughter of the late Edwin C. and Elizabeth A. (Conboy) Sullivan. She was a member of the American Legion Axillary of Hanson, loved going to the beach, also camping and fishing. Janice enjoyed cooking and baking with and for family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Valerie Peterson of Hull; 2 sons, James Peterson of Pembroke and Sean Peterson of W. Newbury; 3 sisters, Betty Wales of Hanson, Mary Hammond of Carver and Kathy Angelique of Plymouth; 2 brothers, Edwin Sullivan of Marshfield and Kevin Sullivan of Quincy; several grandchildren; and her companion of 5 years, Rick Munroe. Visitation was held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, Saturday, November 22, from 3-5 p.m. Friends and relatives were cordially invited back to the Hanson American Legion, 92 Robinson Street, Hanson, following visitation.
