Janice Gordon Johnson, 56, of Mount Washington, died on Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Gordon. She is survived by her husband, Calving Sidney Johnson; a son, Freddy (Julie) Dixon; her mother, Edna "Tottie" Gordon; sister, Sandra Moyers; brother, Gary (Becky) Gordon. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at Shumate Funeral Home with burial in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Local arrangements were handled by McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington.
