The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.Mrs. Davis died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at her residence. She was born November 30, 1951, in Decatur to William R. McDonald and Myrtle Ann Sullivan McDonald.She is survived by her husband, John S. Davis; one son, Michael Davis (Emily) of Decatur; three brothers, Billy McDonald (Ernestine) of Decatur, Johnny McDonald (Rosalie) of Vinemont and Jimmy McDonald (Cathy) of Trinity; three sisters, Charlotte Busby of Decatur, Sandra Miller (Sonny) of Hartselle and Susan Minor (Mike) of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Sean Davis and Sofie Davis of Decatur; mother-in-law, Marlene Davis of Decatur; and a host of nephews and nieces.Pallbearers will be nephews.Guestbook available at www.sheltonfuneralhome.net.
