Janice Darlene Peterson, passed from this earth on December 30, 3005. She was born Feb. 22, 1946, to Raymond and Hazel (Sanders) Potter in Rolla, Mo. She was employed as a teacher by the St. Louis Special School District. She retired from teaching in May 2005 and moved to Springfield, Mo., to live with her parents. Jan is survived by her parents, Raymond and Hazel Potter two sisters, Judy Sikora and husband, of Hollister, and Rita Hile and husband, of Pueblo West, Colo. two nephews three nieces and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. The viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3 in the funeral home. Interment will follow.
