WALL, Janet Brown (Jenny) August 19, 1914 - November 27, 2008 On November 27, 2008, Janet Wall (Jenny) passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years, with her family byher side. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Howard Wall, daughter Wendy Troock (Doug), son Gordon Wall (Maria), and grandchildren Jason (Leanne), Keltie (Ian), Julia, Thomas, Anna; and her many nieces and nephews. Jenny will be fondly remembered for her unending devotion to her family, who always came first. Throughout the years she treasured the lives and accomplishments of her children and grandchildren, and participated whenever possible in their many activities, whether in person or from a distance. Never was an occasion forgotten. Jenny was fiercely independent and liked to be busy. Jenny was a lifelong learner who had a thirst for knowledge. If she didn't know how to do something she taught herself. In addition to numerous roles in the workplace, Jenny was a skilled homemaker. She was a talented seamstress and cook, and enjoyed crafts of all kinds. As with all things, these pleasures and talents were shared generously with her family and friends. Bridge was a favorite pastime, which Jenny enjoyed over many decades, and which brought her and Howie many fine friendships. In keeping with Janet's wishes, there will be a private family memorial.
