Janet Fearon Sinn May 17, 2010 Janet Fearon Sinn, 67, North Calibogue Cay, formerly of Cazenovia and Oneida, died Monday, May 17, 2010, in Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut. Born in Oneida on July 4, 1942, she was the daughter of Charles F. and Doris Carver Fearon. A former resident of the area, she graduated from Oneida High School, Class of 1960, and earned her bachelor's degree at Michigan State University. She married Richard R. Sinn on February 28, 1970, in Waitsfield, Vermont. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Sinn was the vice president and treasurer of Syracuse Suburban Gas. She was on the board of directors for Cazenovia College, Manlius Pebble Hill School and the Cazenovia Lake Foundation, and was treasurer of the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation. Janet was a member of the Cazenovia First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed skiing, competitive sailing, golfing, tennis, gardening and trips to the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton. Surviving are her husband, Richard; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas "Tad" and Christina Helmer of Manlius, Carver "Chip" and Jackie Sinn of Virginia and Charles "Chad" and Lori Sinn of Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Andrew Howard of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Joan Sinn of Piney Flats, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Calvin C. Fearon, on September 24, 1998. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday from the Cazenovia First Presbyterian Church, with the Reverend Frederick Gary officiating. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
