JANET F. STEWART COCOA Janet F. Stew art, 72, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs. Mrs. Stewart was born in Watertown, New York the only daughter of Kenneth and Geraldine Forbes. She lived and attended school in Copenhagen, New York. Janet married David E. Stew art in 1955. In 1963 they moved to Brevard County where she has resided for the past 44 years. Her husband preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Stew art worked for the Florida Power and Light Company for 29 years and retired as a Human Re sources Representative for Brevard County. She is survived by her aunt, nephews and nieces in northern New York and California. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Rockledge United Meth odist Church. She and her hus band were part of the group who made the stained glass window in the church sanctuary. She also was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Stewart was active in starting the Kidney Dialysis Center on Merritt Island. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the Rockledge United Methodist Church with services following at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Florida Memo rial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 701 W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
