Hall, Janet Coolidge ChildJanet Coolidge Child Hall, 94, formerly of Ithaca, died December 1, 2010 at John Knox Village in Orange City, FL. Janet was born in Rutland, VT, the daughter of Marjorie and Paul Coolidge. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Child, a daughter Marcia Kresge Miller of Newburyport, MA, and her late husband, James Hall of Cocoa Beach, FL. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Mobbs of Ithaca, son David Child of Glen Mills, PA and a stepson, Michael Hall of Ithaca, and 9 grandchildren.Janet, a graduate of Cornell University, continued her association with the university as an artist in the College of Agriculture. She will be especially remembered for her love of figure skating at Cornell's Lynah Rink. She was an avid gardener at her homestead known as "The Old Hundred" on Five Mile Drive, where she raised her family. She also spent many years living in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Her family will miss her.
