ROSS Janet Arlene Eaton Ross, age 77, of Trumbull, died peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2004. Janet was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on December 13, 1926, daughter of the late Pearl Viola Morrow and Melvin Horace Eaton. She was predeceased by her husband, George Richard Ross. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Eaton Farrell of Stow, Ohio. Janet was a devoted, loving mother to five children, Joan Ross of Lowell, Mass., Judy Ross Wittstein of Wilmington, N.C., Jill Ross of Middlebury, Rick Ross of Hampton and Joyce Ross Mack of Trumbull. She found great joy in her 11 grandchildren, Jesse and Anna Isaak-Ross, H. Thomas Heitman IV, Jocelyn and Carly Wittstein, Jenna and Sarah Larkin, David Metcalfe, Dylan Ross and Katie Jane and Eric Mack. She was proud to be the great-grandmother of Madison and Henry Ross Heitman. After raising her family, she served the community of Trumbull as an emergency medical technician. She was well-loved by her friends and family because of her giving nature, positive outlook and strength. Her sense of humor and enthusiasm for life have left a deep impression on those whose lives she has touched. Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service at Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Road, Trumbull, CT at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trumbull Emergency Medical Services Association, 250 Middlebrooks Avenue, Trumbull, CT 06611.
