ALBANY Jane M. Kelly entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Hospice Inn in St. Peter's Hospital. Daughter of the late Philip C. Kircher and Julia C. Hickey Kircher, she was born in West Albany and lived in the area her entire life. She was educated in the Albany School System, graduating from Albany High School. She was a member of C.S.E.A. and a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary. Mrs. Kelly was married to Thomas J. Kelly Jr. for 48 years until his passing on December 5, 1994. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Tracy K. and David Abbott; her two loving grandsons, David M. and Ryan T. Abbott, all of Albany; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Herrmann. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends survive. Her very dear and loyal friend of more than 50 years, Theresa Ruth, also survives. Mrs. Kelly was predeceased by her sisters Mary Disco, and Betty Herrmann, and her brother-in-law Monroe Disco. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis DeSales Church on Exchange St., West Albany on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Kelly's family would like to express special thanks for the care and compassion given to Jane by St. Peter's Hospice, St. Peter's Home Care, especially Gary Schwartz, the Memorial Hospital Heart Program, Dr. William Kowal and staff, especially Dr. Suzie Mookherjee, the doctors and staff of Albany Associates in Cardiology, especially Dr. Ramon Fabregas, and all of the wonderful and supportive friends who were there throughout the year. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
