DAVIS, Jane H. 77, of St. Petersburg, died March 22, 2009 at Hospice House Woodside. Born Jan. 2, 1932 in Jonesboro, AR, she moved here in 1956. She was a homemaker and attended Clearview United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John W.; son, John W., Jr. (Marilyn) of Safety Harbor; daughter, Terry Simmons of Pinellas Park; sister, Patsy Norman of Conway, AR; 4 grandchildren, Steven Simmons, Lavana Harvey, Jay and Laura Davis; and great-grand-daughter, Brianna Harvey. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 28th at Clearview United Methodist Church, 4515 38th Ave. N, St. Petersburg 33713. Interment rites will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions are made to Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast.
