MANCHESTER - Jane (Erving) Shea, 63, died March 3, 2010, with her daughters by her side. She was born in Brockton, Mass., on May 27, 1946, to Byron C. Erving and Anna C. (Pearson) Erving. She graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1964. Early in her life she had worked in the insurance business and also worked at the VA Medical Center in Manchester. More recently, she enjoyed many years working at Lovedy's Flower Shop in Goffstown. IN HER LIFE: Jane was a very compassionate and sensitive woman and she was a very talented artist. Her specialty was her beautiful charcoal drawings. She had many dear pets in her life and was a lover of all living creatures. Her passion was her art and her turtles. She would drive miles to save and relocate a turtle crossing the road. She also very much enjoyed reading and all types of music including rock 'n' roll. She loved her family most of all and is survived by her daughters, Gina (Shea) Snook and her husband. Michael Snook, and Kimberly (Shea) Groele and her husband, David; four grandchildren, Lindsay Jane Plantier, Matthew Shea Plantier, Brianna Lynn Snook and Erin Michelle Snook; her special sister, Sally Brock of Bisbee, Ariz., and her two nephews, Christopher Brock and Benjamin Brock; her second mom, Shirley Erving Jones; and her former husband, Peter Shea of New Boston. She was predeceased by her companion of many years, David Cole of Goffstown. SERVICES: There will be a memorial gathering on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. The memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
