SMITH, JANE BARNES, age 80, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2006, at University Hospital. Jane was a former employee with the Chevrolet Motor division, a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church, and a member of Oldham County Country Club. She was preceded in death by her son, William A. "Billy" Smith II; and two sisters, Mary Rose Barnett and Rita Olbricht. She is survived by her husband, William A. Smith; daughter, Paula S. Kiser (Mark). Jane was the sister of Josephine "Babe" Bennett, John R. "Bob" Barnes and Mary Ann Brown. Also survived by three granddaughters, Jennifer Simpson, Kimberly Kiser and Lauren Kiser; and two great-grandsons, William Simpson and Landen Kiser. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 440 Zorn Ave., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman Brothers, 3711 Lexington Road.
