ANDERSON, E. Jane of Tampa, born Jan. 18, 1924, passed away Jan. 7, 2012. Jane was born in St. Louis, MO, to Frieda and C. Paul Adams. She graduated from Southwest High School in St. Louis, and later attended Harris Teachers College, the University of Texas, and completed a course of study at Miss Hickey's School for Secretaries. Jane was employed at an advertising agency prior to meeting Paul R. Anderson and then marrying in 1952. The couple and their children lived in Crystal City, MO, Belleville, IL, and Fairview Heights, IL. After the children were in school, Jane earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University and went on to teach in East St. Louis. Jane passed away peacefully after suffering a hip fracture with subsequent complications. She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Ross, Elizabeth (Randy), and Robert (Robin); her sisters, Ann (d. Joseph Grana), and Cynthia (Myron); sister-in-law Nancy (d. Richard); four grandchildren, Valencia, Elise, Elizabeth and Ross Jr.; and a large and loving extended family. A celebration of Jane's life will be on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, 2:45 pm at the Harborchase Assisted Living Facility, 2960 Tampa Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34684.
