Jan Vincent Morris LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. Jan Vincent Morris, 60, died peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2010, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Phoenix following a brief illness. He was born in Framingham on January 1, 1950, the son of the late Vincent J. Morris and Alice (Urban) Morris. Jan is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine Ann Cathy (Mimonski) Morris, of Litchfield Park, formerly of Medway, Milford and Wayland, Mass. He was the beloved son-in-law of Henry and Stella Mimonski, both of Surprise and formerly of Wayland, Mass. Also survived by two nieces and two nephews. Jan spent his formative years in Framingham, Mass., and was a graduate of Framingham South High School with the Class of 1967. He has had a long career as a real estate broker in Massachusetts and in Arizona. He began his career with DeWolfe Wayside and most recently with Century 21 All Star Realty in Arizona. He was a former chairman of the Conservation Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Medway, Mass., where he and his wife Cathy resided for over 17 years. For many years they also resided in Milford, Mass. Jan was a member of the Meridian Lodge AF&AM of Natick, Mass., and the Kiwanis Club. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, son-in-law, uncle and friend. Visitations were Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Route 30), Wayland. The Meridian Lodge AF&AM of Natick conducted a Ritual of Order on Sunday evening. His funeral services were Monday, January 25, 2010 at the funeral home followed by interment in the Morris family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
