Ashley and Irene Mabry Ashley.Jan was a graduate of the College of Commerce in Greenwood, SC with a degree in Secretarial skills. She was a member of the Upstate Daylily Society and also the Old Ninety Six District Model A Ford Club. Jan and her husband Dr. Bill Manning where strong supporters of Gilgal United Methodist Church.Survivors are: Her beloved husband of 51 years Dr. William (Bill) Manning of the home; two sons William Steven Manning of Abbeville, SC and Dr. Benjamin Meyer Manning (Suzanne) of Greenville, SC; one daughter Erika Lyn Manning of Florence, SC; two grandchildren Madeline Manning and William Manning.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Aug. 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM in Gilgal United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 1230 Central Shiloh Rd.The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00 PM in the fellowship hall at Gilgal UMC prior to services.Memorials in memory of Jan may be made to Gilgal United Methodist Church C/O Mr. Gerald Milford 950 Milford Dairy Rd.
