Jan Jackson SchenectadyJan Jackson of Schenectady, died Saturday, August 3, at Ellis Hospital. Born in Memphis, TN on January 4, 1951, Jan was the son of Jack Jackson and Mildred Bresee Jackson. His parents both served in the Army and Jan enjoyed a childhood living in many different states and countries. He was notably employed as a union mason and worked for many years on the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Jan is survived by his loving wife, Linda Jackson; and two cousins, Jim Putnam and Tom Putnam. A memorial service will be held at the Schenectady City Mission, 425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013.
