Bank of America Senior VPCHESAPEAKE, Va. -- Mrs. Jan Claire Plank Hall of Chesapeake, Va., whose parents live in Lakeland, died of breast cancer Wednesday (Feb. 23, 2005) at home. She was 48.Born in Kokomo, Ind., she moved to Chesapeake several years ago. She was a senior vice president at the Bank of America in the credit card service division in Norfolk. She was a pianist, singer and artist, and in 1975, she was crowned Miss Indiana Junior Miss. She was the Kodak National winner of the American Junior Miss Pageant. She attended Butler University and Baylor University. She graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University. She and her husband founded the Hall Charity Foundation to benefit families battling cancer. She was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church.Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, Steven A. Hall; children, Nicholas and Zachary Jensen, Steven and Alexis Hall, all of Chesapeake; parents, Edwin L. Plank and Norma Barber Plank, Lakeland; sister, Julia A. Martin, Warsaw, Ind.; brothers, Edwin E. Plank, Dallas, David A. Plank, Greensboro, N.C.Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Chesapeake Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Great Bridge Baptist Church. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
