Obituary of Jan-H. Johnson


JOHNSON Jan H. Johnson passed away peacefully on July 27, 2010. She was born July 30, 1922. She would have been 88. She was born in Arkansas City, Kansas to Charles and Erma Huey. She grew up in Calipatria, California, graduated from UCLA and was married to the love of her life, Robert B. at the end of World War II. Jan was a homemaker. She had a passion for plants and her homes were always beautifully decorated. She loved to play golf and attained the special gift of a hole in one in 1983. She volunteered with the Ladies Guild at various hospitals. She loved to travel with her husband of 42 years who preceded her in death. She leaves behind daughter Sandra Stegall and husband Norman of Jacksonville, FL, son Robert and wife Lisa of Cambridge, MD and daughter Barbara Gibson of Denver, Colorado. Her family would especially like to thank the nursing staff and aides of the Atrium nursing home for their loving care. A memorial trip to California will be planned at a later date.
