WYNNE, James Christopher On September 29, 2008, at the age of 75 years, Jim Wynne passed away quietly, peacefully, with his wife, Frances by his side. Jim will always be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by Frances, his wife of 45 years, and by his large family. In Ireland, he leaves four brothers, their wives and families; three sisters, their husbands and families and a sister-in-law and her family. In England, he leaves two sisters, their husbands and families; and in Ontario, a nephew, two nieces and their families. In Edmonton, he is survived by his brother-in-law Christopher Cribb and his nephews Matthew and Daniel Cribb. Jim was predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Wynne; two brothers, Frank and Noel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Doreen Cribb. Jim was born in Wicklow, Ireland on December 4, 1932. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and has resided in Edmonton since then. In 1958, he joined PCL Construction and had a long and rewarding career with them until he retired in 1996. Reverend Roger Keeler will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael-Resurrection Church, 10555 - 50A Street on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those who so wish may make a donation directly to the Bissell Centre, 10530-96 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5H 2H6.
